Had an awesome time at SHORTIE's in Oaktown (Oakdale) for their Halloween Bash! The band showed up as a voodoo man, a mad scientist, a punk rocker, jimmy buffet and.... ron wood? Thanks for all of you who made the drive, and to or new friends melody, tommy and james at SHORTIES - we'll be back!

August 28th is the (kind of) annual party that we like to throw for ourselves and a few Good friends. It usually consists of us playinG all of the music we have, drinkinG ourselves silly and eatinG ourselves sick. If you come... ok - so i think people who sue each other all the time are usually litigious assholes who take undeserving people to court rather than getting their money doing real work... so while I may in fact be an asshole, I can't help thinking that "somebody" may have a copyright infringement suit on their hands. The band's logo has been around and in use for at least ten years... so imagine my surprise when i stumble across this shit!

PHOENIX SPORTS BAR - September 25, 2009

a REALY small place AND we had to buy our own beer (pete's pet peeve #1). the night was kind of like an awkward first date, the kind when you know you have to get through the night but you also know that no matter what, you're probably NOT EVER gonna date this chick again. oh, and she's a midget! (did i mention it's a really small place?) Having said that the people there were good to us and we got some great feedback - so thanks to all who were there! Thanks also to lightboy and steve for your services, also to Irene's Family Restaurant (REALLY good pizza!)
